Tom Belton

Tom Belton has been Head of Archives and Special Collections for Western Libraries since 2019. He has been an archivist at Western since 2005. Prior to that time, he worked as an archives advisor for the Archives Association of Ontario. Belton’s research interests include the history of documents and records, as well as the intersections of archives in time and space with physical and social sciences such as meteorology and anthropology. As a member of the Surviving Memory team, he oversees archiving and digitization projects and provides student and community training.
