Reynaldo Hernández

Reynaldo Hernández is one of the founders of the Surviving Memory project. As a Civil War survivor and collaborator, he works primarily on the massacres mapping project with the Western University team. He was born on a farm in a small canton in northern Cabañas, El Salvador. In 1980, he and his family fled their home under threat of attack by the Salvadoran military and eventually arrived as refugees in Honduras. He migrated to Canada in 1991, where he currently works as a house painter in London, Ontario.
