Nyren Mo

Nyren Mo holds a master's degree in Journalism and Communication and a bachelor’s degree in Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University, Canada. With a strong interest and skills in media production, Mo has also worked with the Western Gazette as a video producer for volumes 114 and 115, and he was a story producer for a reality TV program on Discovery Channel Southeast Asia in 2019. Mo develops production experiences in various video genres, including news explainers, street interviews, documentaries, and other entertainment content. He joined the Surviving Memory team as a research intern in the summer of 2021 through the Undergraduate Student Research (USRI) program. He continued to support the project as a research assistant through his Master of Media in Journalism & Communication degree. He is now working as a video editor and freelance journalist for the Globe and Mail.
