Luis Jaimes-Domínguez

J. Luis Jaimes-Domínguez recently graduated with a PhD in Hispanic Studies from Western University, Canada. He holds a Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies with International Development from the University of Guelph, Canada. His research interests are related to Latino-Canadian literature, testimonial narratives, collective memory and identity. As a member of the Surviving Memory research team from 2018 to 2021, he assisted with workshops related to resettlement stories from refugees and exiles, their oral history and memory, and their impact on the continuing construction of Salvadoran identity.
