Jessica Larios

Jessica Larios is an undergraduate student at Western University, Canada. She is currently studying Psychology and Political Science,  looking to understand the connection between the cognitive processes of an individual and the processes in the systems they reside in. Larios’ both parents immigrated to Canada due to the Salvadoran Civil War (1979-1992), which makes her work with the Surviving Memory project deeply personal. She is passionate about fostering growth in the Salvadoran community and strengthening her connection to her heritage. Larios also holds a strong interest in anthropology, group development, and the arts, which makes the interdisciplinary nature of this project a source of great interest and excitement.
