Jaime Rivera

Jaime Rivera was born in the municipality of Arcatao, Chalatenango, El Salvador. He received his primary education at the Leandro María Guardado Education Center and his secondary education at the National Institute of Arcatao (INARC). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of El Salvador (UES). He has accompanied the Comité de Memoria Histórica Sobreviviente de Arcatao [Surviving Historical Memory Committee of Arcatao] from 2013 to the present, carrying out activities with students, guiding tours in the museum project, accompanying martyrs' stations of the cross and other activities developed by the committee. In addition, Rivera has participated in youth groups, community organizations, and diploma courses on human mobility, human rights, conflict mediation, and masculinities, among others.
