Ivanna Navarrete

Ivanna Navarrete is a second-year student at Western University. She is double majoring in Political Science and SASAH, the School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities, and hopes to attend law school afterward. Ivanna joined the Surviving Memory in Postwar El Salvador team because she recognizes the importance of drawing attention to parts of history that are often overlooked and obtaining direct testimonies from the survivors themselves. She is excited to offer her Spanish and French linguistic skills to contribute to the success of this project. With her Mexican-Peruvian background, Ivanna is looking forward to learning about the culture and history of another Latin American country.
