Fátima Pérez
Fátima Pérez is an independent scholar with a Bachelor’s in Sociology of Education from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, and a Master’s in Hispanic Studies from Western University. She has always been interested in women's life experiences, and her research has expanded from studying graffiti in girls' public bathrooms for her bachelor’s degree to the role of women combatants in the Salvadoran Civil War for her master's. She has worked with the Surviving Memory in Postwar El Salvador team since 2018, leading workshops in Copapayo and Las Vueltas, and is also a collaborator with the massacres map team.
