Bianca Moreno Rivera
Bianca Moreno is a PhD student in linguistics at the Department of French Studies at Western University, Canada. With a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Second Language and more than ten years of experience as a language teacher and translator, Moreno has had the opportunity to work in rural and remote communities in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, where she collaborated in different projects led by community members. She is currently working as a research assistant for the Surviving Memory project as part of the transcription and translation team.
